Open Text Single Click Entry gives users the ability to capture, extract and index information from document images in Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 or in Open Text applications. Open Text Single Click Entry analyzes text and extracts metadata, using OCR software, to populate fields in Microsoft files or Web forms for indexing or further processing including workflow.

Once data is extracted and populated to a database or file, a business process is typically started. Images in SharePoint Server 2007 and Open Text applications are available for Open Text Single Click Entry automation. Information populated and saved to Microsoft Office InfoPath® forms or Web forms is now available for enterprise review and retrieval. Additional routing and automation enables a streamlined process using single line workflow in SharePoint Server 2007 or advanced multilayered tasks using Open Text Workflow™.
